I love Mesa Franca! The pan brioche de yuca is one my favorite things ever to eat. The chicken was delicious! They didn’t have my favorite, pasta achotada de camarones, but the raviolis were AMAZING. The fish and bife de cadera were delicious. I always leave this place very happy.
This is the best food I've had in Bogota. We had the Crudo De Mar Rojo and the Yuca bread to start. The bread was delicious but I would pass on the Crudo next time, or try the Verde. The Roja sauce seemed a bit bitter and overpowering. For entrees we had the Fettuccini Achiotado and Arroz Rojo. Both were fantastic. Also, we had the Mezcal Ojo De Tigre cocktails, which were fantastic.
Without a doubt one of my faves in Bogota. I visited recently after not having been there in a few years and it was more delicious than ever, especially the achiote pasta 😍.
Yuca bread was crunchy yet super soft inside as well as very flavorful. The steak with the lentils sauce was scrumptious. The fish wasn't our favorite, and for the price of about £26 we were expecting something more. The service was really good and prompt. Our waiter was very kind.
One night in Bogotá and this restaurant surpassed all our expectations! The food was creative and delicious, the cocktails were great and the service was exceptional. Surprised this doesn’t have a Michelin mention yet. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, 100% would come back!
